Bay Area Express Lanes

We were the construction manager of the civil and backhaul contracts construction of the I-680 Express Lanes, valued at $34M, and on the I-880 Express Lanes, valued at $43M. We oversaw the construction of a combined 75 miles of express lane, including installation of fiber optic, installation of lighting and tolling equipment, signage (static and dynamic), roadway widening, and striping. In addition, on the I-101 Express Lane Project, valued at $551M, we worked with top stakeholders to partner with the contractor and Caltrans to ensure the delivery of the fiber optic tolling system. Our involvement has been integral to the project’s success, using our experience and expertise in tolling systems to mitigate system deficiencies, enhance cross-contract coordination, and keep the project on schedule.
