Oak Grove Resurfacing Project

This project for the City of Concord involved resurfacing 1.2 miles of Oak Grove Road, a key arterial, using Cold In Place Recycling (CIR). The project included the replacement and improvement of 26 pedestrian pathways and curb ramps, as well as upgrades to signals and pedestrian push buttons at three major intersections.

Zoon Engineering completed the project significantly under budget, thanks to thorough site investigations that revealed misrepresented rehabilitation preparation requirements for a portion of the project. We collaborated closely with the contractor and pavement engineer to re-engineer this section, resulting in substantial savings.
